What is Hypromellose? Hypromellose is a water binding molecule that forms a transparent, lubricating and moistening film on the surface of the eye. It is a main component of artificial tears.
The additional ingredients used in this formula have been carefully selected to provide comfortable relief. The sodium hyaluronate in HylaTears is a form of Hyaluronic Acid (HA).
Uses: For the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. May be used as a protectant against further irritation.
Active Ingredient: Hypromellose 0.3%
Inactive ingredients: water, sodium chloride, sodium hyaluronate, potassium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic, sodium phosphate monobasic, benzyl alcohol
