What comes in the pack:

  • FREE One standard roll - 1 inch x 10 yard Micropore Tape (Tan)

Warning: This product is for external use only! This product should not be applied directly to the areas around the eyes or lips or inside the nose. It is important to avoid getting any of the cream into the eyes, nose, or mouth.

Limitation of Application Area: The total area of skin where Curaderm BEC5 can be applied to at any one time should not exceed 25 sq.cm (approx. 5 x 5 cm). For larger areas should be applied a section at a time.

Tolerance: Curaderm BEC5 is well-tolerated. The healthy skin surrounding the area may occasionally become reddened/irritated due to the salicylic acid, but soon resumes its normal color on cessation of application of Curaderm. Some pain may be experienced due to the salicylic acid content.

Storage instructions: Curaderm BEC5 tube is to be stored below 25°C (77°F), preferably in the refrigerator. After opening, the cream should be stored in the refrigerator.

How to apply:

Apply at least twice daily or as directed by a medical health professional.

Before each application of Curaderm BEC5 wash the area with water, and dry thoroughly. Apply antiseptic gel to the area, and rub in. This procedure ensures removal of dead cells which would otherwise form a barrier.

Apply an adequate layer (yet not an excessive amount) of Curaderm BEC5 to the affected areas only, avoiding the surrounding area. Cover with a simple dressing such as the micropore paper-tape provided with your order. Never allow the area to dry out.

Step 1: Preparation – Cleanse the area using an antiseptic solution such as Hibiclens Antiseptic skin cleanser and dry the area. Alternatively, use soap and water to clean the area.

Step 2: Application – Apply Curaderm BEC5 only to the original area avoiding the surrounding areas to reduce redness on the edges.

Step 3: Covering – Gently cover the area with a simple dressing such as a surgical paper tape (3M Micropore paper tape).
